Pastor Jason 4/5/20

12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.

(1st Peter 4:12-13, ESV)

12 Friends, when life gets really difficult, don't jump to the conclusion that God isn't on the job. 13 Instead, be glad that you are in the very thick of what Christ experienced. This is a spiritual refining process, with glory just around the corner.

(1st Peter 4:12-13, The Message)

1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

(Psalms 1:1-3, NIV)

The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon….

(Psalms 92:12, NIV)

“On that day a great persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria.”

(Acts 8:1, NIV)

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.

 (1st Peter 4:12, ESV)

... [I am suffering] to the point of chains; but the word of God is not CHAINED.”

(2nd Timothy 2:9, NKJV)

...count it all joy when [we] fall into various trials….

 (James 1:2, NKJV)
