Dear Sweet Friend:
Well, we are rushing through 2020 and I have mixed emotions. Oh how I want this year to be behind us, but then I don't want life to go by so fast. (an age thing - smile) Nevertheless, we will be planning Thanksgiving dinner before we know it and starting our Christmas list once again soon.
I miss the fellowship and hugs with ya'll so very much. This just isn't fair. We wanted so much to plan our August ladies party and relax, laugh, draw for secret prayer sister and eat together! (sob) I know it is a dream and just can't be a part of 2020, so we have put our heads together and have an idea since we still need each other as we journey through life as a family.
We want to still keep our prayer sister drawing, but do it differently this year. Sis Angie, Sis Tiffany and myself think it would be neat to:
- Get on line and spin for a name (it will NOT be a secret this year)
- Encourage and spread love to that sister til December
- Send cards/letters via mail, email or text to put a smile on her face
- Send a scripture or devotion to brighten her day
- Send a birthday or anniversary greeting if date is this fall
- Pray consistently for your chosen sister and let her be aware of your prayers
It is so important to be an encouragement to each other during this unsettled year. It would be so refreshing to know a sister in the Lord would be praying for you, AND even a better feeling to take someone's needs to the Lord and call their names out in prayer.
For all those interested (and I am hoping that would be everyone); you would click the link below to fill out and submit your information sheet electronically and then you would contact Hope at the church office and she would direct you on how to spin for a name. We will start spinning next week but need your information back asap.

Let's make a bad into a good and turn this year around to where God can use us to be an encouragement to someone else. Make this fun, rewarding and with purpose. This is the will of God and we want to please Him by expressing our love to others.
Love and hugs,
Sis Forbush, Sis Tiffany & Sis Angie
