Jesus, You are Immanuel, ‘God with us.’

  • You are the eternal Word of God who became flesh and dwelt among us. (John 1:1)  
  • You are, “...the visible image of the invisible God.  You existed before anything was created and You are supreme over all creation….” (Colossians 1:15)
  • You are the Wonderful Counselor.  (Isaiah 9:6) 
  • You are the Mighty God. (Isaiah 9:6) 
  • You are the Everlasting Father.

  • Lord, You are the most important thing about my life.  I want to draw closer to You today.  
  • Nothing else compares with the value of knowing You… (Philippians 3:8).
  • Your Word says that You spoke to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. (Exodus 33:11) I want to be your friend, Lord. 
  • Help me to listen for Your voice in my life & follow You always.
I will trust You with all my heart; I will not depend on my own understanding.  I will seek Your will in all I do, and You will show me which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5-6, personalized)
  • Lord, I don’t want to make decisions on my own. My mind and heart are human and weak with out you.   
  • Instead of doing what I think, I choose to trust You fully and completely.
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because He trusts in You. (Isaiah 26:3)
  • God, I want to stand on your Word. Help me to have deeper trust.  
  • Help me when I struggle to believe.  I long for greater faith.
