Temperature Screenings

Hi Volunteers!

First, we want to say a huge thank you for all that you do each week to serve God and the guests/members of PORVA.  Our Sunday morning and midweek service experiences would not be what they are without your unique contribution.  You bring something special to the team, and we’re incredibly grateful that you’re using the gifts and talents God has given you to be a blessing to others at our church.

Second, we want you to know that we continue to prioritize your safety as you serve during this challenging season.  When we find ways to better protect both you and our attendees, we will always be quick to implement them.  With that thought in mind, we’ll be introducing a new safety protocol this week.

Beginning this Sunday, we will be asking all volunteers to stop for a quick temperature check upon arrival for all services.  The temperature screening station will be set up in the foyer near the side exit doors.  A volunteer will take your temperature using a touch-less thermometer.  Any team member found to have a temperature equal to or higher than 100.4°F will be asked to watch the service from home.

Please visit the temperature screening station in the foyer upon arrival for all services during which you’re scheduled to volunteer.

Thank you in advance for helping us do all we can to make sure our PORVA volunteers, members and guests are as safe as possible while on our campus!
