Singles;
Peace and blessings to you all! Wanted to share a couple of announcements for the Singles. There are 40 Singles ages ranging from 35 and up.
For the month of January, we want to fully participate in the Bible Reading Pastor Jason has shared as well as the Prayer Meetings. The first Prayer meeting will be All-Church Prayer on Wednesday (tonight) at 7 pm.
Also, starting Tuesday January 13th, there will be prayer at 6 am (or) 6 pm. Please mark your calendar to attend one of these powerful prayer sessions.
We are using the YouVersion Bible Reading. If you do not have the specific link, please look on the PORVA website and find the link. The Bible Reading has been awesome.
Two other announcements, The Singles will be collecting Toiletries (deodorant, shampoo, toothbrushes, lotion, etc) for the Beaufont Rehad Center where Sis. Mattie and some of the Ministers share the Word with the facility. You may deliver those to Sis. Sarah Brown or me (Bro. Rod). We will collect through the end of the month.
The second announcement is the Singles will Partner with Chesterfield Food Bank to Volunteer on a Saturday at the end of the Month. January 24th, they will be at Chalkley Elementary School, arrive at 8:30. The session is from 9-11. The address is 3301 Turner Road, Chesterfield, VA. This is just a way to have involvement outside of church and share with those in need. Please let me know if you will be able to attend. We are working on other sessions as well.
