You are the God who sees and provides
(Genesis 22:14, NIV)
Jehovah Jireh - My Provider
  • You are the God who sees and provides (Genesis 22:14, NIV)
  • God, You've been faithful in every season. Through the good and the bad, You always provide for me. I trust in Your promise that You know what I need before I even ask (Matthew 6:8, NIV, personalized).
  • As Jehovah Jireh, You provided a ram for Abraham in the place of his son, Isaac. In the same way, I trust that You will provide solutions, resources, and blessings in every situation I face. Help me to have faith that is steadfast. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8, NIV).
You are the Lord of Peace who grants peace in every circumstance
(Judges 6:24, NIV)
Jehovah Shalom - My Peace
  • In a world filled with chaos and uncertainty, I seek Your peace that surpasses all understanding, which only You can provide (Philippians 4:7, personalized). Jehovah Shalom, I ask that Your peace would dwell within my heart. Calm all of my anxieties and fears.
  • Just as You brought peace to Gideon's troubles, I trust that You will bring peace to me as well. Let Your peace reign in my mind. You are where I find refuge.
You are the Good Shepherd who cares for and guides Your flock
(Psalm 23:1, NIV).
Jehovah Raah - My Shepherd
  • Today, I seek Your guidance in every aspect of my life. Just as a shepherd knows each sheep by name, I trust that You know me intimately and are aware of every detail.
  • Guide me, Jehovah Raah, along the paths of righteousness, that I may honor Your name (Psalm 23:3). Lead me away from the problems of life and direct my steps. I surrender my plans and desires. I ask for the discernment and willingness to follow Your lead.
I come back to You, recognizing Your merciful and compassionate nature. Thank You for being patient with me, never giving up, and guiding me back into Your presence and ways when I stray
(Joel 2:23, NIV, personalized).
  • Because of Your great love I am not consumed, for Your compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23, personalized). Thank you that by Your love and mercy, I can be forgiven.
  • I humble myself now, and ask for forgiveness for every word, thought, and action that grieved Your Spirit and broke Your commandments.
  • Forgive me for the things I should have done but did not do, and for every instance when I knew what was right but failed to act on that knowledge.
  • Lord, restore to me the joy of Your salvation (Psalms 51:12). Give me the strength to obey in areas where I struggle to submit to Your Word. Place within me the desire and the power to do what pleases You (Philippians 2:13, personalized).
  • I want to walk in obedience to Your will.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
(Galatians 5:22-23)
  • Lord, I want the fruits of Your Spirit to be evident in my life.
  • I admit there are things in my life that I struggle to control, like bad habits and patterns. Please give me the strength to say no to these things and to break free. I trust You to make a change in me.
  • When I feel tempted to go back to old habits, help me remember to turn to You for strength. Guide me to make good choices that align with Your plan for my life.
  • God, show me the things that trigger my bad habits, and help me develop good habits instead. Give me the wisdom to make the right choices and the discipline to stick with them.
  • Break the chains of my old ways, and help me walk a new path of freedom and obedience to You.
  • I'm putting my struggles in Your hands, believing that Your grace is enough for me. Strengthen me to resist the pull of old habits, and give me the courage to embrace the power of self-control You’ve gifted me.
This is the confidence I have in approaching You: that if I ask anything according to Your will, You hear me.
1st John 5:14, NIV - Personalized

  • Guide my thoughts to the people and situations You want to impact today.
  • Give me supernatural insight and spiritual discernment so I know who to pray for and what to say.
  • Let Your power flow through me today as I seek to pray Your will.
Your Word tells us that, “...the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” (Romans 8:26)  Paul said, “...I will pray in the spirit, and I will also pray in words I understand.” (1st Corinthians 14:15)
Praying in the Spirit:

Begin to pray in tongues over needs both known and unknown as the Lord directs you.

You said, “...you do not have because you do not ask,” (James 4:2) and that we could, “... come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” (Hebrews 4:16)
  • Begin to pray for your own needs as the Lord directs you.
Note: Feel free to pray the Scriptures as well as the bulleted prayer points under each.
“The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence. I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.”
2nd Samuel 22:2-4
  • Lord, I pray over the children in my church family right now.
    • Surround the children in our church family with Your presence and safety.
    • Guard them from physical, spiritual, and emotional dangers at school and at home.
    • I plead the blood of Jesus over all our schools, protecting students, teachers, and staff members.
    • Help our children develop a strong relationship with You.
    • Grant them strength to stand firm against temptation and strengthen their godly convictions.
    • Use them as a blessing and an example to others. Help them to have a godly separation from sin and worldliness while being testaments of Your goodness and power.
    • May they hide Your Word in their hearts to resist sin and share it with others.
  • God, I also pray over myself and my church family as we prepare to start the week.
    • I pray for physical and spiritual protection for myself and our church family.
    • Help us pass each test we face and bring glory to Your name through our actions.
    • Guard our mouths to be a witness for You in the way we speak.
    • Protect us from influences that might tempt us to compromise our Christian standards.
    • Grant opportunities to reach the lost in our workplaces, leading us into conversations with those hungry for You.
    • Help us be diligent and hardworking, representing You well in all that we do.
    • May our work be done as unto the Lord, acknowledging the jobs You've blessed us with.
Thank You for hearing my prayers and allowing me to feel Your presence today.
  • Thank You for going before me, being with me and never forsaking me. (Deuteronomy 31:8)
  • I give this day to You.   I ask You to order my steps, and use me to be a blessing to others.
  • In Jesus’ name, amen!
