"Great are You, Lord! You are most worthy of praise! You are to be feared above all gods. The gods of other nations are mere idols, but You made the heavens! " Psalm 96:4-6 (NLT) personalized
  • Lord, I lift my voice in worship! You alone are great and worthy of all praise. Your power surpasses all else, and I stand in awe of Your mighty works that fill the heavens and the earth.
  • The idols of this world pale in comparison to Your glory. You are the Creator, and Your majesty is reflected in all that surrounds me. May my heart always honor You and be drawn to Your presence.
  • Lord, there is beauty found in knowing You. What an honor that I get to worship Your Name. As I worship, help me to truly understand the depth of Your greatness and to live in a way that reflects my reverence for You.
“Who, then, can comprehend the thunder of His power?" Job 26:14 (NLT) personalized
  • Lord, as I reflect on Your greatness, I realize that all of creation is just a glimpse of Your infinite power. Your works are beyond comprehension, and even a whisper of Your might leaves me in awe.
  • Who among us can truly understand the depths of Your goodness and the vastness of Your love? Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are beyond our understanding. I stand humbled by Your greatness.
  • Thank You for revealing Yourself to me in ways I can grasp, yet I recognize that Your full power is far beyond my ability to comprehend. I worship You for being the Almighty God, and I am grateful for the mercy and grace You extend to me.
Lord, I want more of the kind of sorrow You want me to experience, which leads me away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death." 2 Corinthians 7:10 (NLT) personalized
  • God, I come before You, asking for the kind of sorrow that leads to true repentance. Help me to recognize my sins and feel the weight of my wrongdoings so that I can turn away from them and draw closer to You. Give me fresh conviction.
  • I thank You for the gift of salvation that comes through genuine repentance. May I never take Your grace for granted but cherish the opportunity to turn my life around and seek Your will.
  • Lord, help me to experience a deep sorrow that leads to change in my heart and actions. Guide me in turning away from anything that separates me from You, so I can live a life that reflects Your love and purpose.

"And forgive me of my sins, as I have forgiven those who sin against me." Matthew 6:12 (NLT) personalized
  • God, I come to You, recognizing the need to forgive those who have wronged me. Help me to let go of any bitterness or resentment in my heart, just as You have graciously forgiven me for my own shortcomings.
  • I ask for Your forgiveness for holding onto unforgiveness and allowing it to take root in my life. Help me to release these feelings and embrace the freedom that comes with forgiving others.
  • Lord, remind me of the mercy You have shown me, and empower me to extend that same mercy to those who have hurt me. Teach me to love as You love, so I can reflect Your grace in my relationships.
Your Word says, "And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words."Romans 8:26 (NLT)
Note: Ask God to bring 2-3 people to mind that are in need of prayer

  • God, my knowledge for the needs of those around is limited, but You are not. I ask that You would use me as a vessel as I begin to intercede on behalf of those in need, lifting their burdens and cries in prayer, when I don't have the words.
  • Help me to be sensitive to the needs of others around me. Open my heart to discern who I should pray for and grant me the compassion to lift them up in prayer, trusting that You will guide my intercessions.
  • I thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. May I be an instrument as I stand in the gap for others, believing in Your power to bring healing and restoration to their lives.

Your Word urges us to, “first of all, to pray for all people. Ask You to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them." 1 Timothy 2:1 (NLT) personalized
  • Lord, I come to You asking for a burden in my heart to intercede for my family and friends. Help me to remember them in my prayers, lifting their needs and struggles before You with sincerity and empathy.
  • Grant me the sensitivity and discernment to recognize when they are in need of Your help, and give me the courage to intercede on their behalf. Let my prayers reflect my desire for their well-being and draw me closer to them as I seek Your guidance in their lives.
  • Thank You for the privilege of prayer and the opportunity to lift my loved ones and friends up in prayer to You.
Thank You for hearing my prayers and allowing me to feel Your presence today.
  • Thank You for going before me, being with me and never forsaking me. (Deut. 31:8)
  • I give this day to You. I ask You to order my steps, and use me to be a blessing to others.
  • In Jesus’ name, amen!
